Juan Carlos Torres

Born in Gracias, Lempira, Juan Carlos Torres has been named one of the best wedding photographers in the world. His artistic wedding photography has been recently featured on Studio Photography and Design, Country Weekly Magazine, Eugene Magazine Online, books and websites.

Juan Carlos is a member of the Professional Photographers of America PPA, the Wedding Photo Guild, The Wedding Photo Journalism Association, and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Professional Photographers of Oregon. His photographs have won several important awards from the Professional Photographers of Oregon and the Wedding Photo Journalist Association. Because of his photography expertise he has been a speaker at several national photography conventions.

Juan Carlos' greatest passion and talent is to capture the human spirit. He particularly loves photographing the Lenca People, and the love of his life, the City of Gracias.

Juan Carlos is an accomplished writer and music composer. He is currently finishing the edits of his poetry book Poemas y Delirios and he expects to publish it within the next two months.

Juan Carlos currently works as a GIS Analyst / Web Developer and Systems Administrator for a government agency in Oregon.
